Digiteka, adtech specialised in monetization of videos, announces the input of the Gama fund to its capital.
After Ouest-France and Rossel in 2018, Ebra in 2020, Digiteka is now announcing the expansion of its capital to five major actors of daily french regional press. Gathered in the Gama investment fund, the groups Centre France, La Dépêche du Midi, La nouvelle République (NRCO), Sud Ouest and Le Télégramme have decided a participation to the tune of 10 % in the adtech specialised in target audience development and video’s monetization. The arrival of these strategics shareholders is strengthening Digiteka’s place inside the french market.
For more than a year, Digiteka has been walking side by side with editorial and production departments of these media groups in order to develop their video’s activities. Amongst others, the adtech makes available its own video platform, its video players and its exclusives technologies of cookieless targeting.
Bruno Jauffret, CEO of Digiteka announces : « The addition of these first rate media groups in Digiteka’s capital reinforces our strategy aiming at gathering an alliance of prenium publishers willing to join their strengths and to take back their technological sovereignty concerning an area as strategic as the video.»
